Administrative Assistant - Beach Office
Silha Funeral Home is hiring for an administrative assistant in the Beach office. This is a vital support staff position. Primary duties include answering phone calls, taking messages, drafting memorial folders, producing tribute videos, maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems, managing accounts receivable, and keeping public areas of the facility clean. Expected hours are 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm, Monday-Friday.
Preferred experience:
- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Publisher
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Basic photo editing
- Multi-tasking in a varying speed environment
Job Requirements:
- Professional attitude and clothing
- Detailed and open communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ability to compose and edit obituaries
- Typing 40-50 words per minute
