Skip was born on December 11, 1960, to Dick and Phyllis (Sallgren) Beach. He attended grade school at Carlyle, Montana, and graduated from Golva High School. Skip had many jobs in his life in both agriculture and the oilfield. He was also a long-time professional truck driver, running long and short hauls. Everyone knew Skip's Kenworth with its memorable epigraphs. He enjoyed working on small engines and motorcycles. In recent years, Skip connected beekeepers with local farmers and ranchers to pollinate area crops. Skip had a great love for motorcycles, attending rallies all over the country. He made friends everywhere he went, and his door was always open for visitors. He loved to sit and discuss, and sometimes debate, a wide range of topics. Skip was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Cindy; brother, Mitch Beach; nephews, Shad Beach, Dustin Beach, Ariel Beach; and great-nephew Logan Stedman. Skip is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Randy) Burris; siblings, Tina (Dale) Lantz, Murril Beach, Monte (Pam) Beach, Clark Beach, Terrel Beach, Trudy (Rick) Dunn, Dell (Bobbi) Beach; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial fund has been set up at Western Cooperative Credit Union. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with family and friends at: www.silhafuneralhomes.com.
