Curt Thomas Baker

January 19, 1959 - March 3, 2022

Curt Baker, age 63 of Glendive, Montana, passed away on March 3, 2022 at his home in Glendive. Per Curt’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements. Curt was born on January 19, 1959, in Glendive to his parents Jack and Patricia (Feisthamel) Baker. He was raised and educated in Glendive, and graduated from Dawson County High School with the Class of 1977. Curt worked for Truck Suppliers for a couple years before he went to work for the Montana Highway Department for over 20 years, until 2000. He took a couple years off before he started his next job at Glendive Sales Corporation, and continued working there until he retired in 2021. Curt married Judy Robson in October of 1980 in Glendive, and to this union, one daughter was born. Although this marriage ended in divorce, he always held a special place in his heart for Judy and her family. Curt enjoyed anything with an engine and that passion continued throughout his life. It was not uncommon to find him under the hood of his vehicle or on a backroad of Dawson County. Curt also enjoyed camping and boating at Fort Peck, he created many memories there with his friends and family. Curt always had an infectious laugh and a great big heart. Curt was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Patricia Baker. He is survived by his daughter Mindy Baker of Billings, MT; two grandchildren Jordyn and Joey Brown of Billings; his brother Mike (Donna) Baker of Glendive; his sister Jill (Mike) Skillestad of Glendive; and two nieces Whitney Skillestad and Ashley (Jakeb) Scheetz.
