Judith Ann Clouse, age 83, of Golva, North Dakota passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson, North Dakota. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Golva. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Vetter officiating. Rite of Committal at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A full obituary to follow. Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements. I was the 4th child born to Fred & Teckla (Nistler) Noll on October 10, 1940, joining Marilyn & Jerry. I was born just minutes before my lovable best friend, an award-winning sister, Janet Marie (Noll) Keohane arrived to be my lifelong companion. I am amazed at how one's path in life changes. I am forever grateful for my second set of terrific parents: sister, Marilyn, and brother-in-law, Ed Rising took on the task of keeping us siblings together. I attended school in Golva, DSU, and Mary College. I married Terry Brown on June 3, 1961 and moved to the ranch with him. Again, God added joy to us as we became parents to three children: Kevin, Brenda & Barb. We molded into a very close-knit family, living and working on the ranch in the Badlands. We moved to Beach in the 70's so the three kids could go to school. I taught a private kindergarten for ten years and loved every minute of it. By that time, Kevin graduated and went off to college. The next year Brenda left for a higher education. Barb followed in the next two years and finished her degree in accounting. Barb and I moved to Bismarck, where she worked at the Capitol and we both worked at Dayton's for 8 years. It was a great job, great people & fit my schedule so I could finish my teaching degree at Mary College. I married Ray Clouse, a former classmate, in Bismarck on December 27, 1988. Ray retired in 1995 from NCDC. We moved into our new log home on his ranch. We enjoyed the country living again and the life we had together. Ray passed away from a long illness on September 23, 2019. After a very long recovery of Covid, I moved into the Golden Valley Manor and after two years went to St. Benedict's Nursing Home, where I spent my last weeks. Judy passed away early Sunday morning, October 6, 2024, just four days away from her earthly 84th birthday. Survivors include her children: Kevin (Lori) Brown, Brenda Willette (Kurt Guldborg), and Barb Lechler; her grandchildren, Landon (Ashley) Lechler and Lateasha (Adam) Gietzen; great-grandchildren, Harper and Reagan Tescher & Eyla and Marren Gietzen, and her siblings, Jerry (Bev) Noll, Janet (Noll) Keohane and Rick (Elaine) Noll. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Teckla Noll; siblings, infant sister Margret Ann, Marilyn & Ed Rising, and Kathleen & Arne Leom; brother-in-law, Brian Keohane, and nephews, John Manian Keohane III and Leon Noll. The family of Judy would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Golden Manor Staff in Beach and the residents for their great care and friendships. Also, we would like to acknowledge the very special care mom received on her final days at St. Ben's and for the extra special accommodations that were made for her children and her twin.
