Stephen Dennis Chambers

Stephen Dennis Chambers, age 71, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glendive with Father Francis Schreiber officiating. Rite of Committal will be in the Dawson County Cemetery in Glendive. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements. Stephen was born May 28, 1949, in Glendive, Montana, the son of Dr. Richard and Mary Chambers. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary School followed by Dawson County High School, in Glendive. Stephen went on to earn his Bachelor's degree at St. John's University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Shortly after his graduation, he passed the CPA exam and went on to become a stockbroker and investment advisor. Stephen was exceedingly kind to children and the elderly. He was known for his generous, compassionate and gentle spirit, as well as, his unwavering support of his family. He enjoyed in engaging conversations with people. Stephen had a passion for financial investing, reading, learning and analyzing data. His lifelong Catholic faith was very important to him. Stephen was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glendive, Montana for a number of years. Stephen is survived by his siblings: Kathy, (Randy), Nancy, (Dan), James, (Kim), Patricia, Mary Ann, (Keith), Sue, (John), Elizabeth, his Uncle Jack Kauth, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made in offering Holy Masses. Vigil services will take place at Silha Funeral Home and Holy Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glendive, Montana.
