Mary Margaret (Hoose) Job passed away October 18, 2019 at Trinity Care Center in Farmington, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 22120 Denmark Avenue, Farmington, Minnesota with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Lunch will follow in the social hall. Interment and graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Wibaux Cemetery, Wibaux, Montana, followed by a gathering at Beaver Creek Brewery. Mary was born the only child of Frank & Margaret (Rowland) Hoose on January 22, 1926 in Eddyville, Iowa. She graduated from Eddyville High School with the class of 1944. Mary went on to attend Ottumwa Heights Junior College and graduated from Marycrest College, Davenport, Iowa in 1948 with a teaching degree. Her first teaching job began in the fall of 1948 in Jordan, Montana. When winter arrived, she was highly encouraged to move into the dorm with the student boarders – a decision she was happy with. Years 2 & 3 of her teaching career took her to Keota, Iowa. In the fall of 1951, Mary went to Wibaux, Montana to teach Commercial Arts. She remained in Wibaux until moving to Minnesota in 2012. Mary married Joseph Job on July 18, 1959 in Eddyville, Iowa. They were married 50 years before Joe’s death in 2010. Surviving are her daughters and their families: Kala (Joe) Hajduk, Michael (Megan), Sarah (Sam) Pfeifer & Cecilia; Adam, Peter & Rebecca. Lori (David) Walsh, Emma (Tanner) Rogers & Sam. Mary struggled the last several months but when she would see her sweet little Cecilia she would light up with true joy.
